Sangeetha Vedantha Dhureena

In the memory of our founder, Late Sri G. Vedanta Iyengar, a memorial award in his name was instituted with the help of His holiness Sri Sri Yathiraja Narayana Ramanuja Jeeyar of Yathiraja Mutt to confer on artists who have excelled in the field of Carnatic music. The award constitutes of a cash award of ₹ 1 Lakh, a Silver medal and Citation.

Raga Laya Prabha

The award “Raga Laya Prabha” was instituted solely to promote young and emerging talents from Karnataka in the memory of our Chief Patron G.V Vijayalakshmi and our Chief founder sisters Karnataka Kalashree Smt. G.V Ranganayakamma and Vid. G.V Neela. The award carries a cash purse of ₹ 25,000 and a Citation.

Lalitha Kala Suma

Revered poet D.V Gundappa’s poem titled, “Vana Suma” was the inspiration for this award. It talks about selfless service, devoid of grandeur and recognition. This award was given to those who made valuable contribution to the society in propagating Karnatak music. The honours are in memory of our chief founders Karnataka Kalashree G.V Ranganayakamma, Vid. G.V Neela and Chief Patron Dr. G.V Vijayalakshmi.
